First time here. I had a juicy Lucy burger which was cooked just right and tasted good. The Carolina burger uses a slaw that is a bit too sweet but was cooked right. The patties are not seasoned as far as I can tell, so the condiments provide the flavor. The Fries are undercooked slightly but tasted good. The onion rings were ok, obviously frozen. Tater tots were great! It's nice to find a beer and burger in this area since Davidson county went wet (not dry).
Our service (Morgan) was great, very friendly and attentive (but not too much). -

This place is bigger than it looks on the outside. The menu is pretty varied. Burgers are obviously the main draw. My party had a custom burger with bacon, jalapeño, and pepper jack as well as a Maxburger classic. Bother we're perfectly cooked and tasty. The 7 ounce size is more than ample. Fries were a good side. We also tried the cookies and cream shake along with an adult shake that tasted like coffee. The shakes were both terrific. One unfortunate event in an otherwise great meal was a small bug that crawled out of our fried pickles, but the staff was considerate and comped a shake for us.
Overall, Maxburger is a place I'll be back to. -

Alright Yelp family... this place has gotten some rough reviews and I've avoided it since they opened due to the inconsistency of service and food quality. But today I decided to give it a shot and had low expectations. And I was wildly impressed with the service and the food. These burgers were on point! I ordered mine medium, and it was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, flavorful, hot, had crisp veggies and a soft, sweet bun. This was a great burger that I will be back for. If you've had a bad experience in the past, it might be time to try them again. Now this is only one visit I've had, but my hopes are that they have worked out the kinks and it will always be like this. The fried pickles are also very good. Keep up the good work MaxBurger.

I was pleasantly surprised after reading the mixed reviews about Maxburger. It was the Monday after Thanksgiving at 12:30 pm and the place was empty. I get people may have been eating leftovers or have spent a little much on Black Friday but it was odd to be the only customers in the middle of lunch. Soon after we were seated other tables began to fill though.
Our server was really friendly and brought us our drinks quickly. Being my first time here, I ordered the classic Maxburger from the lunch menu. It came with one side so I chose fries. We also ordered some fried pickles as an appetizer for the table. Our pickles came out quickly and served with chipotle ranch and regular ranch to dip. Like other reviews, I noticed how salty they were from the first bite. I had to dip them in the chipotle ranch to curb the salty flavor and we even went as far as to concoct our own sweet/spicy ranch with ketchup and Texas Pete to counteract the salty flavor. The quantity was large and texture was good though. I would probably order them again but request "no salt" to my order. Our burgers arrived soon after and wow! They are big! I didn't know how I was going to get my mouth around it. I smashed it down a bit and went in for the first juicy bite. First thing I noticed was how the patty was nice and hot and the lettuce(iceberg), tomato pickle(about 4-5 chips) and red onion were crisp and cold. THAT is how to serve a burger. I can't stand when the veggies on my burger are warm. Maxburger did it right. The bun was a nice toasted brioche and complimented the burger well. My only complaint is that my burger patty needed more seasoning as did my fries. Next time I'll just make sure to add some S/P to my burger before eating. Our server was attentive and friendly during our whole visit and I will have to come back to try some of the other tasty options I saw on the menu. -

The burgers are great and a great beer selection.
Just make sur you have a couple of hours to spend here because the food will take forever. Apparently hour wait times are acceptable here. Even on a slow night you will be waiting for 40 minutes and they wont even apologize because they see that as normal. I would eat here more often, but I just dont have that much time to blow waiting for my dinner to show up.
